I am Joyful in the Local Church

I am a housewife in my forties who has three children. I immigrated to the United States 10 years ago. In my college years, I received the Lord and I loved the Lord with a faithful heart and I did my best to live for the Lord. But there was a lot of struggling in my heart, because I could `t find the church like it was spoken about in the Bible.

Then when I immigrated, the very first prayer I prayed was about God's house spoken about in the Bible. (John 14:2-6) I also prayed that I would find a church that is like a family and loves each other. By means of many situations, the Lord answered my prayer and He let me meet the local church, which is like the church spoken about in the Bible

Being in the local church for six years now, I am joyful, happy and full of thanksgiving because of my new realization about God Himself, God's plan, God's purpose etc. Before I complained and resented my situation a lot. By realizing the Lord works even in hard situations, I came to be happy in any situation. (Romans 8:28) Now I want the confession of Paul to become my confession saying, “I know how to abound; in everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to hunger, both to abound and to lack.” (Philippians 4:12b) Amen Hallelujah!
